Bob Jackson (musician)

Bob Jackson is a British keyboard player, guitarist, and vocalist, best known for his work with the rock band Badfinger. He joined Badfinger in 1974, replacing Bob Andrews, and played on their final two albums for Warner Bros. Records, Wish You Were Here and Head First.

Prior to joining Badfinger, Jackson was a member of the band The Dodgers, a power pop group that achieved some success in the early 1970s.

After Badfinger disbanded following the death of Pete Ham in 1975, Jackson continued to work as a session musician and songwriter. He also participated in various incarnations of Badfinger revival bands over the years, often alongside original drummer Mike Gibbins. These bands toured and performed Badfinger's classic songs, keeping the band's music alive for fans.

Jackson's contributions to Badfinger included both keyboard work and songwriting. He co-wrote several songs that appeared on their albums. He has remained active in the music industry and continues to perform and record.
