Anthony Gordon (American football)
Anthony Gordon (born September 25, 1997) is an American football quarterback who most recently played for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL).
Gordon played college football at Washington State University. He took over as the starting quarterback for the Cougars in 2019, following the departure of Gardner Minshew. In his lone season as a starter, Gordon led the nation in passing yards and passing touchdowns, setting a Pac-12 single-season record for passing yards. He was named second-team All-Pac-12.
He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He was later signed to the practice squad of the Kansas City Chiefs. Gordon has not seen significant playing time in the NFL.
