John MacDougall (Ontario politician)
John MacDougall (born August 6, 1947) is a Canadian politician who served as a Progressive Conservative and later Conservative Member of Parliament for the riding of Leeds—Grenville in Ontario.
MacDougall was first elected to the House of Commons in the 2004 federal election, defeating Liberal incumbent Joe Jordan. He was re-elected in the 2006, 2008, and 2011 elections. During his time in Parliament, he served on various committees, including the Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities.
Prior to entering federal politics, MacDougall served as the Mayor of Gananoque, Ontario, for multiple terms. He was also involved in local business and community organizations.
MacDougall did not seek re-election in the 2015 federal election.
