PNS Zulfiquar (F251)

PNS Zulfiquar (F251) is the lead ship of the Zulfiquar-class frigates currently in service with the Pakistan Navy. Designed by China Shipbuilding Trading Company (CSTC) and built at the Hudong-Zhonghua Shipyard in Shanghai, China, it represents a significant advancement in the Pakistan Navy's capabilities. The Zulfiquar-class frigates are multi-mission platforms equipped for anti-surface warfare, anti-air warfare, and anti-submarine warfare.

Key features of the PNS Zulfiquar include a 76mm main gun, C-802A anti-ship missiles, HQ-7 surface-to-air missiles, and torpedo launchers. It also has a flight deck and hangar capable of accommodating a Z-9EC helicopter, enhancing its anti-submarine warfare and search and rescue capabilities. The ship is equipped with advanced radar and electronic warfare systems.
