Betstar
Betstar was an Australian online sports betting and entertainment company. Established in the early 2000s, it primarily offered wagering opportunities on a wide range of sporting events, including Australian Rules Football (AFL), rugby league, horse racing, and international sports. Betstar operated as a licensed bookmaker and provided services to Australian residents.
The company was known for its online platform and mobile app, which allowed users to place bets, track results, and manage their accounts. Betstar aimed to provide a user-friendly betting experience with various features such as live betting, multi-bets, and promotional offers.
In 2014, Betstar was acquired by Ladbrokes, another prominent online gambling operator. Following the acquisition, the Betstar brand was eventually phased out, and its operations were integrated into the Ladbrokes platform. The Betstar website and app were discontinued, and former Betstar customers were migrated to Ladbrokes accounts. As such, Betstar no longer operates as a separate entity.
