Ard Sluis

Ard Sluis (born August 19, 1960) is a Dutch professor of mathematics and theoretical computer science, currently affiliated with the University of Twente. His research interests broadly include areas such as data management, information retrieval, and the semantic web. He has published extensively in these fields, contributing to advancements in database theory, knowledge representation, and search technologies. Sluis is also actively involved in collaborative research projects, working with both academic and industrial partners to address real-world challenges related to data analytics and information access. His work often focuses on developing innovative algorithms and models that can efficiently process and analyze large, complex datasets. He received his Ph.D. from Delft University of Technology.
