Dankaur
Dankaur is a town and a nagar panchayat in Gautam Buddh Nagar district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is located near the Eastern Peripheral Expressway and is part of the Delhi NCR (National Capital Region). Dankaur is known for its historical significance and is considered to be the birthplace of Guru Dronacharya, a prominent figure in the Mahabharata epic. A temple dedicated to Dronacharya, called the Drona Temple, is a major landmark in the town.
