Nat Faxon
Nat Faxon (born October 11, 1975) is an American actor, comedian, and screenwriter. He is primarily known for his work with the Groundlings improvisational comedy troupe and for his Academy Award-winning screenplay co-written with Jim Rash and Alexander Payne for the film The Descendants (2011).
Faxon has appeared in numerous television shows, including Reno 911!, Happy Endings, Ben and Kate (which he also co-created), and Disenchantment. His film acting credits include roles in Orange County, Club Dread, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, and Bad Teacher.
He and Jim Rash have frequently collaborated as screenwriters and directors. In addition to The Descendants, they co-directed the films The Way, Way Back (2013) and Downhill (2020).
