Eton Park

Eton Park Capital Management, L.P. was a global, multi-strategy investment firm founded in 2004 by Eric Mindich, formerly the youngest partner in Goldman Sachs history. The firm employed a variety of investment strategies across multiple asset classes, including equities, credit, and macro. Eton Park maintained offices in New York, London, and Hong Kong.

The firm aimed to deliver consistent, risk-adjusted returns to its investors, which included pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals. Eton Park utilized a fundamental, research-intensive approach to investment management.

In March 2017, Eric Mindich announced that Eton Park would wind down its operations and return capital to its investors. The decision was attributed to a challenging environment for hedge funds, particularly those employing complex, multi-strategy approaches, and the difficulties in generating consistent returns in a low-interest-rate environment. The firm completed its liquidation in 2017.
