HMS Lancaster (1694)
HMS Lancaster was an 80-gun third-rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, launched in 1694.
Lancaster was built at Deptford Dockyard under the 1693 Establishment, and launched on 10 March 1694. She participated in numerous naval engagements throughout her service.
In 1703, she was rebuilt according to the 1702 Establishment at Woolwich Dockyard. After this rebuild, her armament remained 80 guns.
In 1719, Lancaster underwent a second rebuild, again at Woolwich, this time following the 1719 Establishment. This rebuild reduced her to a 70-gun ship.
Lancaster continued in service until she was broken up in 1749.
