Aina (band)

Aina was a metal opera project conceived by Sascha Paeth in 2003. It featured a large ensemble cast of vocalists and musicians from various metal genres, including progressive metal, power metal, and symphonic metal. The project's sole album, Days of Rising Doom, was released in 2003.

The storyline of Days of Rising Doom is a fictional narrative revolving around themes of royalty, betrayal, and war. The album features a large cast of characters, each portrayed by a different vocalist.

Notable vocalists featured on the album included Glenn Hughes, Andre Matos, Michael Kiske, Tobias Sammet, Marco Hietala, Simone Simons, and Candice Night. Instrumentalists included Sascha Paeth, Robert Hunecke-Rizzo, Olaf Reitmeier, Derek Sherinian, and T.M. Stevens.
