Zgošća (river)
The Zgošća is a river in central Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a right tributary of the Bosna river. It originates on the slopes of Mount Lisina and flows generally in a northerly direction. The Zgošća passes through the town of Kakanj before joining the Bosna. It is characterized by relatively cold and clear water and is known to be a habitat for various fish species. The river's watershed is primarily forested. Local communities use the river for recreational activities such as fishing. The Zgošća is also important for local agriculture.
