Wei Song

Wei Song (魏松, born 1954) is a Chinese operatic tenor. He is known for his powerful voice and interpretation of roles in both Western and Chinese operas.

Wei Song graduated from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and has performed leading roles in numerous productions internationally. He is particularly recognized for his interpretations of roles such as Calaf in Puccini's Turandot, Radames in Verdi's Aida, and Don José in Bizet's Carmen. He is also highly regarded for his performances in Chinese operas like The White-Haired Girl.

Wei Song has held various teaching positions, nurturing the next generation of Chinese opera singers. He is a significant figure in the development and popularization of opera in China.
