Ban Wang

Ban Wang refers to a type of traditional Chinese bed characterized by a low, platform-like frame and often featuring intricate carved panels on the headboard and footboard. The term "Ban Wang" (板床) literally translates to "board bed." These beds are historically significant in Chinese furniture design and are associated with Ming and Qing dynasty furniture styles.
