Verano de Escándalo (Summer of Scandal) 1997 was a professional wrestling event produced by the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA). It took place on September 14, 1997, in Tijuana, Baja California. The show featured a number of prominent AAA wrestlers in various match types. Key matches included a Steel Cage match featuring Perro Aguayo and a Lucha de Apuestas (bet match) where the loser would be shaved bald.
