Brian Shaw (strongman)

Brian Shaw (born February 26, 1982) is an American professional strongman competitor and four-time World's Strongest Man (WSM) winner (2011, 2013, 2015, and 2016). He is widely considered one of the greatest strongmen of all time, alongside competitors like Mariusz Pudzianowski and Žydrūnas Savickas.

Shaw began his strongman career in 2005 and quickly rose through the ranks. He earned his professional strongman card that same year. He is known for his exceptional all-around strength and particularly his prowess in events involving pressing, deadlifting, and carrying heavy objects.

Beyond his four World's Strongest Man titles, Shaw has also achieved significant success in other prestigious strongman competitions, including multiple wins at the Arnold Strongman Classic (2011, 2015) and World Strongman Super Series championships. He has consistently placed among the top competitors in the sport for over a decade.

Shaw is also a popular figure on social media and has collaborated with other strongmen and athletes on various fitness-related content. He co-owns and operates a strongman training facility, Shaw Strength, where he coaches aspiring strongman competitors and provides training programs. He has also been involved in hosting strongman competitions and promoting the sport.
