Undrafted (film)

Undrafted is a 2016 American sports comedy-drama film written, directed by, and starring Joseph Mazzello. The film is loosely based on the real-life experiences of Mazzello's older brother, John, who was surprisingly not selected in the Major League Baseball draft.

The story follows a college baseball player, John Mazetti (played by Aaron Christopher Kelly), who is devastated when he isn't drafted. He's forced to come to terms with his dashed dreams and spends the summer playing in an amateur league with a ragtag group of friends and rivals. The film explores themes of friendship, perseverance, and finding meaning beyond professional success.
