Thomas Wilson (Minnesota politician)
Thomas Wilson (1827 – 1910) was an American politician and jurist who served in the Minnesota legislature and on the Minnesota Supreme Court.
Born in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, Wilson moved to Winona, Minnesota Territory in 1853 and became involved in law and politics. He served in the Minnesota House of Representatives in 1857 and 1858, and in the Minnesota Senate in 1860 and 1861. He was a member of the Republican party.
Wilson served as an associate justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court from 1864 to 1869. He resigned from the court to resume private law practice. He was known for his legal acumen and contributions to the development of Minnesota law during a formative period.
Wilson died in Winona, Minnesota.
