Rattlesnake (2019 film)

Rattlesnake is a 2019 American thriller film written and directed by Zak Hilditch. It stars Carmen Ejogo, Theo Rossi, Emma Greenwell, and Apollonia Pratt.

The film centers on a single mother, Katrina Ridgeway (played by Carmen Ejogo), whose daughter, Clara (played by Apollonia Pratt), is bitten by a rattlesnake while they are traveling across the desert. A mysterious woman appears and saves Clara's life. However, Katrina is then told she must repay the debt by taking the life of another person before sunset. Driven by desperation and maternal love, Katrina grapples with the moral dilemma and searches for a way to save her daughter without committing murder. The film explores themes of sacrifice, morality, and the lengths a parent will go to for their child. Rattlesnake premiered on Netflix on October 25, 2019.
