Azeville

Azeville is a commune in the Manche department in Normandy, northwestern France. It is known primarily for the Azeville battery, a World War II German artillery battery which formed part of the Atlantic Wall. The battery played a significant role during the Normandy landings in June 1944. Today, the battery is preserved as a museum and historical site.
