Waterdeep (band)

Waterdeep was an American alternative Christian rock band formed in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in the mid-1990s. Led by husband-and-wife duo Don and Lori Chaffer, the band was known for their introspective and often theologically rich lyrics, coupled with a blend of alternative rock, folk, and pop influences.

Waterdeep's career spanned from 1995 to the early 2000s, during which time they released several albums, including Everyone's Beautiful, Enter the Worship Circle, Waterdeep, and Popular Songs. Enter the Worship Circle spawned a series of related projects and live albums featuring other artists, expanding the "Worship Circle" concept.

The band's music often explored themes of faith, doubt, relationships, and the complexities of the human experience. Their sound incorporated acoustic elements alongside electric guitars and keyboard textures, contributing to a distinctive and emotive style.
