USS Concord (SP-773)

The USS Concord (SP-773) was a United States Navy patrol vessel in commission from 1917 to 1919.

Originally the private motor yacht Josephine, she was built in 1910 by the Gas Engine & Power Company and Charles L. Seabury Company of Morris Heights, New York. The Navy acquired Josephine from her owner, F. W. Woolworth, on 13 July 1917 for use as a patrol boat during World War I. She was commissioned as USS Concord (SP-773) on 22 August 1917.

Assigned to the 3rd Naval District, Concord performed patrol duties in the New York City area for the duration of the war. These duties included patrolling harbors, safeguarding shipping, and enforcing neutrality laws.

Following the end of World War I, Concord was decommissioned on 20 February 1919. She was sold to William F. Booth on 23 May 1919. Her subsequent fate is unrecorded.
