Tony Murphy (cricketer)

Anthony "Tony" Murphy (born November 20, 1943, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia) is a former Australian first-class cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who played for New South Wales and Tasmania.

Murphy's career with New South Wales was relatively brief. He debuted in the 1960s and showed promise with a sound technique and ability to score runs, but faced stiff competition for places within the strong New South Wales batting lineup of the era.
