Al Dvorin
Al Dvorin (1922 – 2004) was an American professional sports and entertainment announcer. He is best known for his association with Elvis Presley, serving as Presley's announcer from 1955 until Presley's death in 1977. Dvorin was particularly famous for his energetic and elongated pronunciation of "Elvis Presley!" during concert introductions.
Beyond his work with Elvis, Dvorin announced numerous sporting events, including professional wrestling and roller derby. He also had a career in radio and television, often appearing in commercials and hosting local programs. His distinctive voice and enthusiastic delivery made him a recognizable figure in the entertainment industry. Dvorin was considered a pioneer in the art of showmanship and contributed to the electric atmosphere surrounding many of Elvis Presley's performances.
