LXVII Army Corps (Wehrmacht)

The LXVII Army Corps (German: LXVII. Armeekorps) was a German Wehrmacht army corps that existed briefly towards the end of World War II. It was formed in the spring of 1945 and deployed primarily in the Netherlands during the final months of the war. Its purpose was to bolster defenses against the advancing Allied forces.

The corps was under the command of General der Infanterie Otto Sponheimer. Its specific composition and subordinate units varied during its short operational life, but generally consisted of a mix of depleted infantry divisions, Alarm-Einheiten (ad-hoc emergency units), and other miscellaneous formations cobbled together as Germany's military situation deteriorated. The LXVII Army Corps was part of Armee-Abteilung Kleffel and later Armee Weiss.

The LXVII Army Corps surrendered to Allied forces in May 1945, following the general German surrender. Its operational history was limited due to the late stage of the war and the rapidly collapsing German front.
