Alkaleri

Alkaleri is a Local Government Area (LGA) located in Bauchi State, Nigeria. It is situated in the southern part of the state.

The administrative headquarters of Alkaleri LGA is in the town of Alkaleri. The LGA is primarily inhabited by people of the Fulani and Hausa ethnic groups, with smaller populations of other ethnicities.

The economy of Alkaleri is largely based on agriculture. Common crops grown in the area include millet, sorghum, maize, groundnuts, and beans. Livestock rearing is also a significant economic activity. Trade and small-scale businesses contribute to the local economy as well.
