Chris Clark (ice hockey)

Chris Clark (born March 5, 1976) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played primarily as a right winger.

Clark was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the third round, 77th overall, of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut with the Flames during the 1999–2000 season. Over his NHL career, he also played for the Washington Capitals, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Tampa Bay Lightning. He served as captain of the Washington Capitals from 2006 to 2010.

Known for his physical play and leadership qualities, Clark was a consistent presence on the ice throughout his career. He accumulated a significant number of penalty minutes and was often used in a checking-line role. While not a prolific scorer, he contributed offensively and was valued for his defensive responsibility and willingness to stand up for his teammates.

Clark's NHL career spanned over 10 seasons. After his NHL career, he continued to play professional hockey in Europe.
