Saín Alto
Saín Alto is a municipality located in the northwestern part of the state of Zacatecas, Mexico. It is part of the Fresnillo region.
History: The area was inhabited by indigenous groups prior to the arrival of the Spanish. The name "Saín Alto" is believed to derive from the Nahuatl language, possibly meaning "high place of the spring" or "high place of the salt." The municipality was officially established in the 19th century.
