Endless Night (1972 film)

Endless Night is a 1972 British psychological thriller film directed by Sidney Gilliat, based on the 1967 novel of the same name by Agatha Christie. The film stars Hayley Mills, Hywel Bennett, Britt Ekland, Per Oscarsson, and George Sanders.

The story revolves around Michael Rogers (Bennett), a young man with ambitions to build his dream house on a piece of land known as Gypsy's Acre, which is said to be cursed. He meets and marries Fenella "Ellie" Thomsen (Mills), a wealthy American heiress. Their idyllic life is threatened by premonitions, warnings, and the ominous presence of a mysterious woman, Greta Andersen (Ekland), a former friend and companion of Ellie. As unsettling events unfold, including the death of Ellie's protective lawyer, Mr. Santonix (Sanders), Michael is forced to confront the possibility that the curse of Gypsy's Acre may be real, or that someone is manipulating him and his wife.
