Don McKenzie (footballer, born 1939)

Don McKenzie (born 1939) was an Australian rules footballer who played for the Footscray Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL).

McKenzie, a rover, played 39 games for Footscray between 1960 and 1963. He was known for his pace and agility. While not a regular goalscorer, he contributed to the team's efforts through his tackling and ability to feed the ball to key forwards. His VFL career was cut short by injuries.

Following his VFL career, McKenzie continued to be involved in football at a local level. Specific details of his post-VFL involvement are limited, however, historical records indicate continued engagement with the sport in the western suburbs of Melbourne.
