Chuck Schmidt (American football)

Chuck Schmidt (born November 25, 1954) is a former American football player. He played college football as a linebacker for the Western Michigan Broncos. In 1976, Schmidt was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He played in the NFL for the Eagles from 1976 to 1983, primarily as a linebacker and special teams player. After his playing career, Schmidt became involved in coaching at the high school level.
