Tony Fisher (American football)
Tony Fisher (born October 9, 1979) is a former American football running back. He played college football at the University of Notre Dame.
Fisher was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the second round (45th overall) of the 2002 NFL Draft. He played for the Bills from 2002 to 2005, primarily as a backup running back and on special teams.
After his time with the Bills, Fisher also played for the St. Louis Rams (2006), the Houston Texans (2007), and the New York Jets (2008). Throughout his NFL career, he was known for his versatility and contributions on special teams, particularly as a kickoff returner.
Fisher retired from professional football in 2009.
