Juan Gálvez (bishop)

Juan Gálvez (dates of birth and death unknown) was a Roman Catholic prelate who served as the Bishop of Zamora in Spain during the late 15th and early 16th centuries. He was appointed to the position in 1493 and held the bishopric until his resignation in 1504. Little is definitively known about his earlier life or his activities before and after his tenure as bishop. Records indicate that his time in Zamora was relatively unremarkable compared to some of his contemporaries. He is part of the historical record of the Catholic Church in Spain during the reign of the Catholic Monarchs, Ferdinand and Isabella.
