Tomcat (2016 film)
Tomcat, also known as Kater in German, is a 2016 Austrian drama film directed by Händl Klaus. The film tells the story of Andreas and Stefan, a gay couple living in Vienna, whose seemingly perfect relationship is shattered when Stefan unexpectedly and violently attacks Andreas' beloved pet cat, Moses. The film explores themes of love, violence, guilt, and the fragility of relationships in the face of trauma. Tomcat won the Teddy Award for Best Feature Film at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival. The film is primarily in German, with some scenes in English. Its runtime is approximately 114 minutes.
