Jim Thomas (basketball)
Jim Thomas (born November 24, 1960) is a retired American professional basketball player.
Thomas played college basketball at Indiana University, where he was a member of the 1981 national championship team under coach Bob Knight. He primarily played guard and forward.
Following his college career, Thomas was drafted by the Indiana Pacers in the fourth round of the 1982 NBA Draft (80th overall). He played for the Los Angeles Clippers during the 1982-83 NBA season.
After his NBA career, Thomas continued to play professionally overseas.
