Georgia Gould (politician)

Georgia Gould is a British Labour Party politician. She has served as the Leader of Camden London Borough Council since May 2017.

Gould was first elected as a councillor for the Kentish Town ward in 2010. Prior to becoming Leader, she held various cabinet positions within the council, including responsibility for young people and community safety.

As Leader of Camden Council, Gould has focused on issues such as tackling inequality, building affordable homes, and addressing the climate emergency. She has been a vocal advocate for community engagement and participation in local government.

Gould is the daughter of the late Philip Gould, a prominent Labour Party strategist and pollster. She is married to Theo Blackwell, Chief Digital Officer for London.
