Tetsuya Kajiwara (musician)
Tetsuya Kajiwara, often credited simply as Tetsuya, is a Japanese drummer, percussionist, and musician. He is known for his extensive work across various genres, including rock, punk, and jazz fusion.
Kajiwara gained prominence as the drummer for the influential Japanese rock band THE BLUE HEARTS from 1985 to 1995. His powerful and energetic drumming style contributed significantly to the band's signature sound.
Following the breakup of THE BLUE HEARTS, Kajiwara pursued a diverse solo career and collaborated with numerous artists. He has been a member of several bands, including ROOTS66 and The 3Peace. He's also frequently worked as a support musician for other prominent Japanese acts.
