Dobrovo

Dobrovo is a village in the Municipality of Brda in the Littoral region of Slovenia. It is the administrative center of the municipality and is located in the heart of the Goriška Brda hills, a region known for its vineyards and fruit orchards.

Dobrovo is dominated by the Dobrovo Castle, originally built in the 13th century and rebuilt in the 17th century. The castle now houses a museum with art collections, including works by Zoran Mušič.

The village is a popular tourist destination due to its picturesque location, vineyards, wine cellars, and cultural attractions. Wine production is a significant part of the local economy. The surrounding area features numerous hiking and cycling trails, offering views of the landscape.
