Luis Perdomo (baseball, born 1993)

Luis Perdomo is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher who is currently a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Diego Padres, Milwaukee Brewers, and Pittsburgh Pirates.

Perdomo signed with the San Diego Padres as an international free agent in 2011. He made his MLB debut with the Padres in 2016. He was initially a starting pitcher, but later transitioned to a relief role. He was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers in 2020 and then to the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2023.

Known for his sinker, Perdomo has demonstrated an ability to induce ground balls. His career has been marked by periods of success and struggles, common for young pitchers transitioning to the major leagues. He has faced Tommy John surgery and rehabilitation throughout his career.
