Tom Bagley (racing driver)
Tom Bagley is a former American IndyCar driver. He competed in the CART IndyCar series from 1978 to 1980 and in the Indy Racing League (IRL) from 1996 to 1998.
Bagley's most notable achievements include finishing 8th in the 1978 Indianapolis 500 and achieving a career-best finish of 6th at the Michigan 500 in 1978. He primarily drove for second-tier teams during his open-wheel racing career. While he didn't secure any major wins, he was known as a consistent competitor who often maximized the performance of his equipment. He made 3 starts in the Indianapolis 500.
After his racing career, Bagley remained involved in motorsports, working in various roles including team management and driver coaching.
