Alexis Caron (Lower Canada politician)

Alexis Caron (1790 – 1830) was a farmer and political figure in Lower Canada. He represented the county of Hertford in the Legislative Assembly of Lower Canada from 1820 to 1824 and from 1827 until his death.

Caron was born in Saint-Michel, Lower Canada. He was involved in local militia activities. He was elected to the Legislative Assembly in 1820 but was defeated in 1824. He was re-elected in 1827. Caron generally supported the Parti canadien. He died in office in 1830.
