Jiří Dejl
Jiří Dejl (born July 31, 1953) is a Czech former ice hockey player and coach. He primarily played as a defenseman.
Dejl played for HC Dukla Jihlava for the majority of his career, winning multiple Czechoslovak league championships with the team. He also represented Czechoslovakia internationally, participating in several World Championships and the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, where the team finished fifth.
Following his playing career, Dejl transitioned into coaching. He has coached at various levels of Czech hockey, including junior teams and professional clubs. He is known for his development of young players. His coaching career includes stints in the Czech Extraliga. He is also known for his contributions to hockey development programs for youth and amateur players in the Czech Republic.
