Antonio Prieto (Chilean singer)
Antonio Prieto (June 26, 1926 – July 14, 2011) was a Chilean singer and actor, notable for his bolero and ballad performances and his international success, particularly in Spain and Latin America.
Prieto began his career as a radio singer in the 1940s. He gained widespread recognition in the 1950s with songs like "La Novia" (his signature song), "El Reloj", and "Madrecita." His smooth baritone voice and romantic style made him a popular figure in the era of bolero dominance.
