Interceptor (film)

Interceptor is a 2022 Australian-American action thriller film directed by Matthew Reilly in his directorial debut, from a screenplay co-written with Stuart Beattie. The film stars Elsa Pataky and Luke Bracey.

The plot centers around Captain JJ Collins (Pataky), a US Army officer who is assigned to a remote missile interceptor station in the Pacific Ocean. She is the last line of defense against sixteen stolen nuclear missiles aimed at the United States. A coordinated attack, led by the charismatic Alexander Kessel (Bracey), threatens to disable the station and allow the missiles to reach their targets. Collins must use her tactical skills and military training to stop Kessel and his mercenaries, saving the United States from nuclear annihilation.

The film was released on Netflix on June 3, 2022.
