Bendje (department)

Bendje is a department of Gabon, located in the west of the country. Its capital is Port-Gentil.

The department is situated on the Atlantic coast and includes the entirety of Mandji Island. Its primary economic activities revolve around the oil industry, fishing, and tourism. Port-Gentil, as the economic capital of Gabon, is a significant hub for oil exploration and production activities.
