Torr Mor is a whisky distillery located in Huntly, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Established in 2023, it's known as the sister distillery to the renowned Ardnamurchan Distillery, both owned and operated by Adelphi Distillery Ltd. Torr Mor is dedicated to producing heavily peated single malt Scotch whisky, contrasting with Ardnamurchan's primarily unpeated style, though both distilleries share a commitment to sustainable practices. The distillery is named after a hill near the site. Torr Mor aims to explore the richer, more robust flavors achievable through significant peat influence during the whisky-making process. The distillery uses locally sourced barley and traditional production methods.
