John McLaughlin (footballer, born 1954)

John McLaughlin (born 18 October 1954) is a Scottish former professional footballer.

McLaughlin played as a defender. He began his career with Clydebank in 1973. He made over 100 league appearances for Clydebank before joining Falkirk in 1978. After a spell with Falkirk, he moved to Australia to play for Brisbane Lions. He returned to Scotland and played for several clubs including Albion Rovers, Dumbarton, and East Stirlingshire before retiring from professional football.
