Run (2004 film)

Run is a Bollywood action thriller film released in 2004, directed by Jeeva. The film stars Vijay and Meera Jasmine in the lead roles. It is a remake of the Tamil film of the same name, also directed by Jeeva.

The plot revolves around Shiva (Vijay), a young man who moves to a big city for work and falls in love with Jhanvi (Meera Jasmine). Their romance faces obstacles when Shiva inadvertently gets involved with a dangerous criminal named Deva (Atul Kulkarni) after he unknowingly picks up a bag containing illegal goods belonging to Deva's gang. Shiva becomes the target of Deva and his henchmen, forcing him to protect himself and Jhanvi.

The film is known for its action sequences, music by Vidyasagar, and the performances of the lead actors. While not a critical darling, it achieved moderate success at the box office.
