Bob Thorpe (outfielder)

Bob Thorpe (born August 12, 1942) is a former professional baseball outfielder. Thorpe played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Kansas City Athletics in 1964. He was signed by the Athletics as an amateur free agent in 1961.

Thorpe appeared in four games for the Athletics, going hitless in five at-bats. He was primarily a defensive replacement, playing in the outfield. Prior to his brief major league stint, Thorpe played in the Athletics' minor league system. After his time with Kansas City, he continued to play in the minor leagues for several seasons.
