IWA World Heavyweight Championship (International Wrestling Enterprise)

The IWA World Heavyweight Championship was the top singles title in the International Wrestling Enterprise (IWE) promotion, a Japanese professional wrestling organization active from 1966 to 1981. The title was established in 1967 and remained active until the IWE folded.

The championship represented the IWE's main title, and its holders were considered the top stars of the promotion. Wrestlers from various countries held the title, reflecting the "International" aspect of the IWE. Notable champions included Giant Baba (who was the inaugural champion), Rusher Kimura, Strong Kobayashi, Billy Robinson, and The Great Kusatsu.

The lineage of the title ended when the IWE ceased operations. The IWA World Heavyweight Championship (International Wrestling Enterprise) is not to be confused with other championships bearing similar names in different promotions, such as the IWA World Heavyweight Championship of the International Wrestling Association (IWA) Puerto Rico.
